Math word problem. What's the equation I use?

Jordan wants to figure out the height of a tree in his yard. He is 5 feet tall and his shadow is currently three feet long. The measure of the tree's shadow is 9 feet long. How tall is the tree?

    You would have to find the proportionality of the two. If his shadow is 3 feet long, and the tree's shadow is 9 that means it is proportioned by 3. So the height of the tree would be 15.
