We can round numbers in two ways: rounding up or rounding down.

Number 5 is in the middle and it goes up:

    For example: 5.665 ≈ 5.67, but 5.664 ≈ 5.66

    Also: 5.675 ≈ 5.68 and 5.674 ≈ 5.67

    Answer:

The fastest speed to the thousandths: 5.674 m/s

The slowest speed to the thousandths: 5.665 m/s
