    Area of a rectangle is defined as: A = L * W

We have six rectangles whose base width is the same. That is 2. We need to work out the Area.

1st rectangle Length is 1 width is 2. This is not possible because width can never be longer than the length so we leave this one aside.

    2nd Rectangle 4 * 2 = 8

    3rd Rectangle 9 * 2 = 18

    4th Rectangle 16 * 2 = 32

    5th Rectangle 25 * 2 = 50

    6th Rectangle 36 * 2 = 72

Now add up these answers to get the sum of them

    8 + 18 + 32 + 50 + 72 = 180

No units have been provided so the answer remains as 180.
