Find the x - and y-intercepts for the following equation.

    To find the x int, sub in 0 for y and solve for x

    -4x + 3y = 9

    -4x + 3 (0) = 9

    -4x = 9

    x = - 9/4 ... so ur x int is - 9/4 or (-9/4,0)

    to find the y int, sub in 0 for x and solve for y

    -4x + 3y = 9

    -4 (0) + 3y = 9

    3y = 9

    y = 9/3

    y = 3 ... so ur y int is 3 or (0,3)
