Without solving the systems, explain why the following systems must have the same solution. System (a) : 4x-5y=13 System (b) : 8x-10y=26 3x+6y=11 x-11y=2

    The systems given above should have the same solution because they are just multiple of each other. For example in System (a), the second equation, 8x - 10y = 26 can be divided by 2 in order to give us an answer of 4x - 5y = 13 which is equal to the first equation.
