Joan and her family are discussing how to pay for her college education. the cost of tuition at the college that joan wants to attend is $10,000 per year. joan parents will pay 65% of the tuition cost each year and she will pay the rest. joan has one year to save enough money to attend her first year of college. what is the minimum amount of money she should save every month in order to reach her goal.?

    Ok, find the rest she has to save

    100%-65%=35%

    35% of 10000=3500 needed to save

    assuming she has 12 months

    3500/12months=291.666666666/1month

    about $291.67 per month
