There was 2/3 fruitcake leftover. Elizabeth ate 1/5. How much of the whole fruitcake did she eat?

    This is fraction multiplication. We need to find 1/5 of 2/3 of the cake.

    Multiply numerator by numerator, and denominator by denominator:

    1/5 x 2/3 =

    (1x2) / (5x3) =

    2/15

    The answer is A. 2/15
