    Volume of candle = 3.24 * r^2 * h where r = radius and h = height

    so plugging in the given values:-

    123 = 3.14 * 1.5^2 * h

    h = 123 / (3.14 * 1.5^2)

    = 17.41 inches to nearest hundredth

    V=hpir^2

    pi=3.14

    h=h

    v=123

    r=1.5

    123=h3.14*1.5^2

    123=h3.14*2.25pi

    123=h7.065pi

    divide both sides by 7.065

    17.409=h

    round to hundreth

    17.41 inches
