Ted says that 3 tenths multiplied by 100 equals 300 thousands. is he correct? Use place value chart to explain your amswer

    I can tell you that he is wrong because 3*10=30 then 30*100 = 3,000 and 300 thousands would be 300,000

    Yes he is correct because if he multiply 3by 100 equals it equals 300 thousands
