    A) 2x - 4y = 10

    B) 7x - 9y = 12

    Multiplying equation A by - 3.5

    A) - 7x + 14y = - 35 then adding B

    B) 7x - 9y = 12

    5y = - 23

    y = - 4.6

    2x - 4*-4.6 = 10

    2x + 18.4 = 10

    2x = - 8.4

    x = - 4.2

    It has one solution (-4.2, - 4.6)
