A 45-45-90 triangle has a hypotenuse of length 7. What is the length of one of its legs? If necessary, round your answer to two decimal places.

    If the legs are legnth x, then the hyptonuse is x√2

    x√2=7

    divide both sides by √2

    x=7/√2

    times (√2) / (√2)

    (7√2) / 2

    3.5√2

    aprox 4.94974

    round
