    The mean is the average basically

    (summ of all numbers) divided by (total number of numbers) exg

    1,2,3

    (1+2+3) / (3) = 2

    median is the number in the direct center when the numbers are aranged in decending or acending order exg

    1,2,3

    median=2

    mode=most common number exg

    1,2,3,4,4,4,5,6

    mode=4

    mean of 5 numbers

    (x+y+z+t+a) / 5

    is the same as

    =

    the median

    which is equal to the range which equals 4

    therefor

    median=4 and mean = 4 so

    (x+y+4+t+a) / 5=4

    multiply both sides by 5

    x+y+4+t+a=20

    subtract 4 from both sides

    x+y+t+a=16

    the most common number is 4

    so we can assume that the smallest and largest are the same:4

    the answer is D:4
