Make it end/simplify to x=x or contatnt=same constant a (b+c) = ab+ac distribtiv epropeoty simplify and keep the question mark 2x-2+6x=4?-4+2 add like terms 8x-2=4?-2 add 2 to both sides 8x=4? divide both sides by 4 2x=? the question mark has to be 2x so 2 (x-1) = 4 (2x-1) + 2 has infinite solutions
