    Y = - 3x + 1 ... so we sub in 3x + 1 for y in the other equation

    2y = - 6x + 2

    2 (-3x + 1) = - 6x + 2

    -6x + 2 = - 6x + 2

    -6x + 6x = 2 - 2

    0 = 0

    Consistent and Coincident (its consistent because it has a solution ... it is coincident because both equations are the same line
