    3 (m + 5 + 9m)

    A.

    (1) 3m + 15 + 27m

    (2) 3 (10m + 5)

    B. 3 (m + 5 + 9m) ... distributive property

    (3 * m) + (3 * 5) + (3 * 9m) =

    3m + 15 + 27m

    C. 3 (m + 5 + 9m) = 3 (10m + 5) ... m = 1

    3 (1 + 5 + 9 (1) = 3 (10 (1) + 5)

    3 (1 + 5 + 9) = 3 (10 + 5)

    3 (15) = 3 (15)

    45 = 45
