    First. We calculate the value of "x"

    22% of x = 33

    (22/100) x=33

    x = (33*100) / 22=150

    Second: We calculate the value of "y".

    44% of y = 99

    (44/100) y=99

    y = (99*100) / 44=225

    Therefore:

    x=150

    y=225

    225>150 then y>x

    Answer: y is greater than x.
