Immigration is the transfer of individuals from one country to another. This is different from emigration in which the transfer of the locality just takes place. In this case, leaving family and friends will take place as well as finding a way around a new city will also happen. It is also possible of learning a new language. It is not necessary to find a new religion or a stranger to marry.

Well, it really depends on the person. But generally, I'd say that the obstacles an immigrant might need to overcome would include leaving friends, leaving family members, learning a new language, and perhaps the last option, but I'm not sure about that one.

I don't think they would be forced to embrace a new religion or marry somebody, but those things may happen as well.
