Which sentence uses the word abominable correctly?

    Abominable by definition means hateful, loathsome, unpleasant, very bad which generally means feeling of adversity. In this case, sentence B doesn't make sense since one cannot associate hate with time or D which associates benevolence with hostility. The answer would have to be A.
