    Subtract 1l from both side to get

    -5lx = 10 - 1l

    Divide by - 5l to get

    X = 10 +.2l

    This equation is unsolvable ... to isolate for x you divide by - 5 on both sides, then you get

    |x + 1|=-2

    but it's impossible for absolute value to be negative, so it's unsolvable.

    (absolute value cannot be negative because it represents a number's distance from zero)
