    Let, width = x

    Length = 2x+8

    Perimeter, 2 (l+b) = 88

    88 = 2 (2x+8+x)

    88 = 6x+16

    6x = 72

    x = 12

    So, 2x+8 = 2 (12) + 8 = 32

    So, the dimensions are 32 * 12 cm
