What scale factor should be applied to a solid to produce a volume that is four times as large as the original volume? 64 1.12 4 1.59

    Since it is volume which is 3 dimensional you would take the cube root of 4.

    The cube root of 4 is 1.59

    If i want the number 5 to be 4 times as large, i will multiply 5 x 4
