How to simplify fraction

    Divide the numerator and denominator by the common number

    ex: 4/10 2 goes equally in both, so divide both 4 and 10 by two, getting 2/5

    Divide the top and bottom by any common factor they have.

    If you divide top and bottom by the greatest common factor,

    then you only have to do it once.

    When the only common factor left is ' 1 ', then the fraction is in the simplest form.
