Ben earns $9 per hour and $6 for each delivery he makes. He wants to earn more than$155 in an 8-hour workday. What is the least number of deliveries he must make to reach his goal?

    8*9=72

    now deliveries

    72+delivieries>155

    deliveries=6 times number of deliveries (let's say 'd')

    72+6d>155

    minus 72 both sides

    6d>83

    divide both sides by 6

    d>13.83

    can't make 0.83 delivieries, round up

    d=14

    needs to do at least 14 deliveries
