325 people were in a tour group. Six buses were completely filled and 7 people chose to walk. How many people did the bus hold?

    First subtract 325-7 = 318 Then you divide 318/6=53

    So each bus holds 53 people

    Buses+walk=total

    buses+7=325

    minus 7 both sides

    buses=318

    6 buses

    318 fits into 6 buses equally (all are full and we assume that each bus holds the same amout of people)

    318/6=53

    53 people per bus
