What is the value of x in the equation x-2/3 + 1/6 = 5/6?

    x = 8/6 (Subtraction property of equality)

    8 divided by 6 equals 1.33

    Now if we plug that into the equation as 1 and 1/3 ...

    1 and 1/3 - 2/3 + 1/6

    2/3 + 1/6

    4/6 + 1/6 = 5/6

    So that means your answer is decimal 1.33 or mixed fraction 1 and 1/3
