    because 2-6=-4

    -4<-3

    its just a matter of subbing to see which one is true ...

    (6,2) ... x = 6 and y = 2

    y - x < - 3

    2 - 6 < - 3

    -4 < - 3 ... true ... so (6,2) is a solution
