    We know that perimeter is the length of the sides added together, and the all sides of a square are equal. If one side of the window is 36 inches long, then all of the sides are 26 inches long.

    perimeter = 36in + 36in + 36in + 36in = 144in

    The perimeter of the window is 144 inches
