    If f is a funtion and c>1, then we ahve the following.

    To obtain the graph of y=cf (x), vertically stretch the graph of f=f (x) by a factor of c.

    dа ta:

    factor=c=2

    f (x) = y=5x

    Therefore:

    y=2 (5x)

    y=10x.

    Answer: y=10x

    If its a vertical stretch of 2, then you would multiply y by two, because the y-axis is vertical. therefore, the equation becomes 2y=5x.
