Orders received in April = 250

Orders received in May = 300

    difference between them = 300 - 250 = 50

to find the percentage increase we use this formula:

Percentage increase = Difference between both numbers or quantities / original number x 100

    = 50/250 x 100

    = 0.2 x 100

    = 20%

so, the percentage increase is 20%.
