    A) For a one minute car ride you would pay a total of $5.00.

    B) For a 18 minute car ride, you would pay $39.00

    A: f (x) = 2x+3. or y=2x+3

    B: f (x) = 2 (18) + 3. y=2 (18) + 3

    2*18=36

    36+3=39

    $39 for 18 mins
