Becky is growing a garden in her backyard. it is in the shape of a rectangle 3 feet wide by 4 feet long. her husband said that he can grow the same amount of crop in half of the space. what are the dimensions of his garden?

    The area of Becky's garden is 3•4, or 12 square feet. Half of that would be 6 square feet. The dimensions of that garden could be 1 foot by 6 feet or 2 feet by 3 feet (if you only want whole numbers for lengths).
