    The substitution method:

    y = 6 x - 1 (the new equation)

    After that:

    4 x - 3 (6 x - 1) = - 11

    4 x - 18 x + 3 = - 14

    - 14 x = - 14

    x = 1, y = 6 * 1 - 1

    y = 5
