If the foreign exchange rate between the U. S. dollar and the Japanese yen is 1:90, how many yen will you get for $15?

    1/90 = 15/x

    cross multiply

    (1) (x) = (90) (15)

    x = 1350 <==u will get 1350 yen in exchange for $ 15
