Ok so to do this we need to start with 1 and multiply it by 2 8 times to get our answer, therefore we have 2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2=256

    We can show this as:

    256/2=128 (1)

    128/2=64 (2)

    64/2=32 (3)

    32/2=16 (4)

    16/2=8 (5)

    8/2=4 (6)

    4/2=2 (7)

    2/2=1 (8)
