To find a fraction that is equivalent to 1/4 you can just multiply the fraction by any number, as long you multiply the numerator and the denominator by the same number.

    For example, 1/4 * 27

    1*27=27

    4*27=108

To check we could do 27*4 which equals 108

    So 1/4 and 27 / 108 are equivalent
