If 25% of a number is 100, what is the number

    Then the equation can be written as

    25x/100 = 100

    25x = 100 * 100

    25x = 10000

    x = 10000/25

    x = 400

    So the required number is 100. In this case, understanding the question is of immense importance. Once the words of the problem are converted to numbers, then there is no issue left.
