Julie is sewing the costumes for the school play. She needs to make fifteen bows. Each bow uses 3/4 of a yard of ribbon. Julie has 9 yards of ribbon. Does she have enough ribbon for the costumes?

    The answer is no. To solve it you need to find out how much ribbon it takes to make 15 bows. 15 multiplied by 3/4 yards = 11 1/4 yards. If she only has 9 yards of ribbon, then she doesn't have enough
