A model of a famous statue is 1 1/4 inches tall. The actual statue is 3 1/3rd feet tall. What is the ratio of the height of the model to the height of the actual statue in simplest form in a fraction?

    1 1/4 x 12" = 12" + 12/4 = 12" + 3" = 15" (model)

    3 1/3 x 12" = 36" + 12/3 = 36" + 4" = 40" (statue)

    model / statue = 15/40 = 15:5 / 40:5 = 3/8
