    6 in. by 9 in. 24/4=6 and 36/4=9

    Since 10 in will be the longer side, to find the shorter did

    x/10 = 24/36

    x/10 = 2/3

    x = 10• (2/3)

    x = 6 2/3

    So the dimensions are

    6 2/3 in by 10 in
