    There are a few different ways to go about it.

    I would do it like this:

    (n - 5) / 2 = 5

    Multiply each side of the equation by 2 : n - 5 = 10

    Add 5 to each side of the equation: n = 15

    (n-5) / 2=5 (Multiply terms on both sides of the equation by 2)

    n-5=10 (Add 5 to both sides of equation)

    n=10+5

    n=15
