There are 45 red tiles, 25 blue tiles and 30 green tiles in a bag.

Suppose you plan to conduct this experiment 60 times.

Draw a tile from the bag without looking.

Record the color of the tile

Replace the tile

How many tiles of each color do you expect to get?

    This is a question of probability.

    Probability of picking any color = number of tiles with that color/total number of tiles

    Total=45+25+30=100

    P (red tile) = (45/100) x60=0.45x60=27

    P (blue tile) = (25/100) x60=0.25x60=15

    P (green tiles) = (30/100) x60=0.3x60=18
