Todd is using the benchmark 1/2 to compare fractions. Which statement is not correct. A 5/6 less than a 1/2

    That's the correct answer - - 5/6 is about 0.83, while 1/2 is 0.5, so you get a clear order. Another way to compare them is writing 1/2 as 3/6, again getting an order.

    That is the correct anwser because 3/6=1/2 and 5/6 is greater 1/2<5/6
