The answer would be 4. If there are 4 times as many new bikes as old ones, and there are 16 new bikes, you would do 16 divided by 4 which = 4

    Motorcycle shop maintains

    U - used bikes

    N - new bikes = 4N

    1 U = 4N

    ? U = 16 new bikes

16/4 = 4. There are 4 used bikes that are in stock.
