Mr. Richard's class is holding a canned food drive for charity. Juliet collected 10 more cans than Rosana. Santiago collected twice as many cans as Juliet. If they collected 130 cans altogether, how many cans did Juliet collect?

    If we represent the number of cans Juliet collected as J we can express Rosanna's number as J - 10 and Santiago as 2J so all their cans together is J + 2J + J - 10=130. 4J = 140 and J = 35.
