    Z = 114 + 2p

    p = 46

    Plug in 46 for 'p' in the first equation.

    z = 114 + 2p

    z = 114 + 2 (46)

    Multiply:

    z = 114 + 92

    Add:

    z = 206

    So the Zigzag river is 206 miles long.
