    1 Dozen = 12

    1 Dozen = $5.98

    1/2 Dozen = 6

    1/2 Dozen = $2.99

Add 1 Dozen ($5.98) and 1/2 Dozen ($2.99) Which Equals = $8.97 then subtract the $1.00 Coupon So final answer is $7.97 for 1.5 dozen bagels.
