Okonkwo’s identity was challenged by the cultural collision because he feels like his culture is responsible for all o his problems. He feels like his culture represents him though. Since he is a leader, he has to obey his culture even though he feels that it is the cause of his problems. Later on, he realizes that he has become a relic and can no longer function.
