    According to Newtons 2nd law of motion,

    Fnet = mass x acceleration

    ∴acceleration = Fnet/mass = 50/100 = 0.5 m/s²

    Use the equation F=ma to solve for the acceleration

    Force: 50 N

    Mass: 100kg

    50=100a

    a =.5 m/s/s
