So we have the following equation: W = F * D Solving for D and the substituting the known values and calculating W = F * D W/F = D 20000 J/200 N = D 20000 Nm/200 N = D 100 m = D So the work was done over a distance of 100 meters. Power is work over time, so just divide the number of Joules performed by the time it took to perform the work. So 20000J / 20s = 1000 J/s = 1000 W So the machine has 1000 watts of power.
