    Velocity initial would equal 15 m/s

    Acceleration would be - 9.81 m/s^2 (vertically fired object)

    Time = 2.5 s

    Use the equation d=vit+1/2at^2

    d = 15 (2.5) + 1/2 (-9.81) (2.5) ^2

    d = 6.8 or 7 meters
